Scootaround Terms of Sale
All purchases through the Scootaround, Inc. websites (the “Site”), or resulting from visits made by you, are governed by these Terms of Sale. If you wish to purchase any product available through the Site, you may be asked to supply certain information about the transaction including, for example, payment method, payment card number and expiration date, your billing address, and shipping information. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method(s) used in connection with any transaction. By submitting such information, you grant to Scootaround, Inc. the right to provide such information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of any transaction initiated by you or on your behalf.
Billing
Scootaround, Inc. accepts the following payment methods:

Credit Cards We accept all major credit cards issued by US and Canadian banks, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Debit cards Bank-issued debit cards are gladly accepted as long as they bear either the Visa or MasterCard logo on them, and payment processes immediately.
FSA/HSA Debit Cards Save money by using your FSA dollars to pay for items purchased at SpinLife! We recommend that you verify eligibility with your FSA carrier.
Pricing & Availability
Scootaround, Inc. cannot confirm the price or availability of an item until after your order is placed. Pricing or availability errors may occur on the Site or through Marketplace Retailers. The receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of an order or our confirmation of an offer to sell a Product. Scootaround, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any orders containing pricing or availability errors, with no further obligation to you, even after your receipt of an order confirmation or shipping notice from Scootaround, Inc. Scootaround, Inc may, at its discretion, either contact you for options or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Scootaround, Inc. makes a conscientious effort to describe and display its products and services accurately on the Site. We cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, and availability. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time without prior notice. If we determine that there were inaccuracies in our product information, we will cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation via email. We reserve the right to change prices for products on the Site at any time, and to correct inadvertent pricing errors.
Scootaround, Inc. reserves the right to limit quantities on orders placed by the same account, on orders placed by the same method of payment, and on orders that use the same billing or shipping address. We will notify you if such limits are applied. Similarly, Scootaround, Inc. reserves the right to prohibit purchases of any merchandise to resellers. Resellers are defined as a company or an individual that purchases goods with the intention of selling them rather than using them. The Site sells and ships products to end-user customers only, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if we suspect you are purchasing products for resale.
Shipping and Delivery
FREE Standard Shipping
Standard ground shipping is FREE for all orders $50 and over (based on order subtotal, before taxes and fees) in the continental United States and Canada. Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii are subject to additional shipping charges. Most orders ship via Federal Express or UPS and arrive on your doorstep within 3-5 business days once product is shipped.
* Delivery surcharges still apply to rural zip codes and to orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii.
Some items may take longer to arrive and may require freight delivery. They include:
Large scooters, lift chairs, power wheelchairs (other than travel and folding power chairs), scooter and wheelchair lifts, patient lifts, beds, standing frames, stair lifts, pool lifts, and some non-folding wheelchairs will arrive via a freight company in 5-7 business days from when they leave the manufacturer. The freight company will contact you when the item has arrived at the freight facility in your area to schedule a specific delivery time convenient for you.

· Orders under $50 add $10.00 standard ground shipping.
· Certain rural zip codes may have additional delivery charges.
· International shipping is not available at this time. We do not ship to the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or Guam.
Expedited Shipping
Second Day and Overnight Shipping may be available. You can receive an expedited rate by contacting us at sales@scootaround.com, or call us toll free at 1-844-664-7467.
Which Items Can Be Expedited?
Not all products are applicable to expedited shipping, such as lithium-ion batteries and larger items as listed in freight delivery above. To determine whether an item is eligible for expedited shipping, please contact us at sales@scootaround.com, or call us toll free at 1-844-664-7467.
Please be aware that most products ship directly from the manufacturer. Selecting Second Day or Overnight Shipping will expedite the delivery of your products once they are ready to ship, but will not shorten the production or processing time. Expedited shipping is available for delivery Monday thru Friday only. Saturday delivery may involve additional costs and is not available on all items.
Except as otherwise set forth herein, the risk of loss for and title to products purchased on the Site passes to the purchaser upon delivery to the carrier. Since delivery of your order can be impacted by events beyond our control once it leaves our facilities, Scootaround Inc. cannot be held liable for late deliveries. We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.
Promotional Codes
Promotional codes are limited in nature and may expire or be discontinued with or without notice. Promotional codes are void where prohibited by law. Promotional codes may not be copied, sold, or otherwise transferred. They are not redeemable for cash and are subject to cancellation or change at any time for any reason without notice. We reserve the right in our discretion to impose conditions on the offering of any promotional code.
Return Policy
Thanks for shopping at Scootaround! If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund of the original product price minus any restocking or return shipping fees.
Please take a minute to review the following information and policy details:
- Scootaround is not responsible for the shipping process
- Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable
- In order to return the product:
- You must have your original receipt or packing slip included with the delivery
- Product must be in new condition (no scratches, dents, cracks, dirty or marked tires, or any indication of usage)
- Product must be returned in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING with all included paperwork, parts, and accessories. Please keep your original packaging for at least 30 days.

*Products must be returned within 14 days of receiving your return authorization
Some items are non-returnable/non-refundable. These include:
- Items ordered through financing
- Products valued at less than $25.00
- Used items
- Special/custom orders
- Replacement batteries and chargers
- Replacement parts
Some products are non-returnable due to hygienic reasons or if they have been custom-made by the manufacturer. These include:
- Sports wheelchairs
- Lift chairs
- Bath or safety equipment
- Cushions
- Personal or hygiene products
Re-stocking Fees
- 15% of the total order for all Mobility Scooters
- 15% of the total order for all Electric Wheelchairs
- 15% of the total order for everything else (including accessories)
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We are happy to help you with instructions on how to return your item or suggest alternative solutions. Insuring larger items at their retail value to protect against shipping damage is highly recommended. If an item is shipped to the wrong return address, Scootaround, Inc. reserves the right to charge for any additional shipping fees associated with shipping the item to the correct location. If a scheduled pick up with a carrier is missed, Scootaround, Inc. may charge a fee per missed scheduled pick up.
Cancelled Orders
If you decide to cancel your order after it has been placed, your order will be subject to the standard return policies as listed above. If delivery of an item is refused, return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a restocking fee will still apply.
Once your item has been received and inspected by the original sender, Scootaround, Inc. will issue the refunded amount in the same form of payment used for the purchase.
Refunds
Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your refund to be issued.

All descriptions, images, references, features, content, specifications, products and prices of products and services described or depicted on the Site are subject to change at any time without notice. Certain weights, measures, and other descriptions are approximate and are provided for convenience purposes only. The inclusion of any products or services on the Site does not imply or guarantee that these products or services will be available. It is your responsibility to obey all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws related to the receipt, possession, use, and sale of any item purchased from the Site. By placing an order, you represent that the products ordered will be used only in a lawful manner. You agree to pay all charges that may be incurred by you or on your behalf through the Site, at the price(s) in effect when such charges are incurred including, without limitation, all shipping and handling charges. In addition, you remain responsible for any taxes that may be applicable to your transactions.
Warranty Policy
Most of the equipment we offer comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty for parts. This does not include labor costs. Please check the individual product pages or documentation that came with your product for specific warranty information.
